The Women’s Place is pleased to announce transitions within the President and Provost’s Council on Women (PPCW) leadership team for the 2023-24 academic term.

  • Aparna Dial (Chair), director, Office of Administration and Planning
  • Dr. Zarine Shah (Past Chair), associate professor, College of Medicine
  • Katrina Lee (Chair Elect), John C. Elam/Vorys Sater Professor of Law, Moritz College of Law

PPCW leads the charge to advance women across The Ohio State University and works in partnership with The Women’s Place (TWP) to help fulfill TWP's policy development efforts. The council advocates to the President and Provost to develop policies and practices that positively affect the working environment for women. PPCW leaders are elected by the council to serve three-year terms in progressive roles as chair elect, chair, and past chair.

The Women's Place provides administrative support for the council and TWP's director is an ex officio member of the leadership team. TWP also recommends topics to the president and provost for the council to address.
