Emma joined The Women’s Place (TWP) in August 2023 as a graduate assistant. Her role with TWP will be to provide logistical support for the office as well as help TWP with various research projects to help create institutional gender equity.
Emma has a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Miami University and is currently pursuing her Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology at Ohio State. In her undergraduate career she developed a passion for promoting health equity and access to healthcare in underserved populations. Emma was drawn to The Women’s Place by her interest in social justice issues including disability rights, health disparities and gender equity.
