Diane Florian (She/Her)

Diane Florian joined The Women’s Place (TWP) team in 2011. Since then she has applied her more than 20 years of communications experience to advance equity, diversity and inclusion and remove systemic barriers to women’s advancement. In addition to communications, her role at TWP includes participating in a number of university-wide committees and collaborations; facilitating and developing programming; and strategic planning.

Diane has an associate degree in graphic and web design from Columbus State Community College and a bachelor degree in psychology from The Ohio State University. Her interest and background in art and design attracted her to the communications role and her passion for social justice led her to The Women’s Place. She is a trained Art of Hosting Meaningful Conversations practitioner who employs these techniques to bring equity of voice, respect and acknowledgement of group wisdom to daily operations and strategic planning.
