Join The Women’s Place for a virtual information session to learn more about the process of applying to the Higher Education Resource Services (HERS) Leadership Institute and gaining financial support.
The HERS Summer Leadership Institute is a national, nine-day residential leadership development program for higher education professionals in mid- and senior-level positions. The program focuses on self-knowledge, institutional awareness, networking, and practical application to broaden the skills and opportunities of dynamic leaders. HERS is an inclusive program, with a focus on women and people who are gender diverse. HERS programs and services are open to all regardless of gender identity.
Ohio State has a long history of supporting faculty and staff as participants in this external opportunity. Partial funding to attend HERS is available through The Women’s Place for a limited number of participants.
Featured guests include:
- Maria Miriti, Associate Dean for Academic Excellence, Grad School (HERS participant, 2025)
- Sue Knoblaugh, Associate Professor, Veterinary Medicine (HERS alum, 2024)
