Wexner Medical Center employees are invited to join The Women’s Place, Office of Human Resources and Bright Horizons for a webinar about Ohio State’s new and expanded family care benefits. (For academic employees, see March 8 webinar.) These new benefits offer eligible employees additional support for managing work, life and family responsibilities.
Each one-hour webinar will cover the new and expanded 2023 family care benefits, including back-up care, primary care, pet care, tutoring, summer camps, caregiver respite, long-distance needs and other Bright Horizons offerings.
For those who can’t attend, recordings of each session will be available following the webinars.
Bright Horizons is a provider of high-quality early education and child care, back-up care, and workplace education services. Ohio State has partnered with Bright Horizons to offer the following benefits:
- Back-Up Care™: Access a network of high-quality care centers and in-home care providers for temporary care when you have a disruption in your regular care. Ohio State substantially offsets your cost through a subsidy program. Employees have a copay that can be reimbursed through the Lifestyle Spending Account (LSA) up to benefit limits.
- Family Concierge™: Time-saving, personalized guidance with a customized plan for new, ongoing and emergency child, adult and elder care.
- Enhanced Family Supports™: Discounts for primary child care, academic support, tutoring services, enrichment programs and elder care.
These benefits are available to eligible Ohio State employees (full-time and part-time (at least 50% FTE) in a regular or term position. Please note: The Ohio State subsidy of back-up care is taxable if used.
