In observance of Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April, The Women's Place invites you to view and discuss the documentary film Nevertheless, which looks behind #MeToo headlines to the realities of sexual harassment and how we can end it. Participants who register will receive a link to view the film independently through direct streaming from April 9-17. Then registrants can join an open discussion of the film on Wednesday, April 20 at 6 pm to share reflections and strategize meaningful action.

Nevertheless follows the intimate stories of seven individuals who have experienced and overcome sexual harassment in the workplace or at school. From a writer's assistant on a top TV show, to a tech CEO, to a 911 dispatcher, the film’s subjects spotlight the stories of survivors who are shifting our culture. Workplace sexual harassment is not a ‘women’s issue’ — it is something that is born out of our collective culture and it affects everyone. We all need to be involved in its solution, and this film is a powerful way to start the conversation.

Learn more by viewing a trailer of the film.

This program is free and open to people of all genders. Registration is required. The event will not be recorded for later viewing.
