About this event

Dr. Wang Zheng is a professor of Women's Studies and History, research scientist, and executive committee member of The Institute for Research on Women & Gender at the University of Michigan. Earning her PhD in Modern Chinese History from the University of California, Davis, Dr. Zheng's work focuses on feminism in China, particularly its historical development and contemporary activism, as well as changing gender discourse in China's socioeconomic, political, and cultural transformations of the past century.
