Exploring Equity at Ohio State

Would you like to learn skills that result in better decision-making? Do you desire a greater ability to respond to opportunity, challenge and change by bringing equity of voice to team meetings, strategic planning processes, orientations, team building, skills trainings, etc?

Tuesday Ryan-Hart, systems change strategist and steward of global Art of Hosting (AoH), and Tim Merry, international engagement specialist and systems change strategist, will present an introduction to Art of Hosting Meaningful Conversations techniques. The Art of Hosting is a suite of powerful conversational processes that invite people to step in and take charge of issues facing them in an inherently more democratic way than most conversations and meetings allow.

You’ll learn how using Art of Hosting tools harnesses the collective wisdom of departments, teams and task groups to solve their toughest problems.

Come ready to challenge your assumptions around equity, be in deep conversation, and learn new techniques for achieving the change you seek in yourself, your organizations, and the university. Become a part of the growing AoH community at Ohio State, which is comprised of several hundred faculty and staff, and throughout central Ohio that practices these techniques in their daily lives and work.

Reception with light hors d'oeuvres will follow at 4pm.

Sponsored by The Women’s Place with partner, Wexner Medical Center, for the university community (people of all genders and gender identities are welcome).

Please RSVP no later than 5/2 at 5pm.
