Help celebrate the lives of Black women and girls and support their continuing post secondary education and training. What better way to end the summer and look forward to the future than by socializing, enjoying uplifting spoken word, song, SPECIAL GUEST APPEARANCES, delightful refreshments, and awarding of scholarships to young women in our community.

According to Dr. Elaine Richardson, chair of the Education Foundation for Freedom, “Black Women and Girls' Recognition Day is one of our contributions to various efforts and strategies around the country fighting for gender and racial justice, so that the needs of girls and women of color are fully addressed and so people can understand how they can get involved.”
