Policies

The goal of The Women's Place is to create partnerships and collaborations to connect and enhance the lives of OSU women. TWP will help existing programs reach a larger audience and coordinate with partners to support or create programs that are needed. The outcome is that women's voices will be amplified on University issues critical to women.

To further these goals, TWP may engage in the following activities when allocating office resources and personnel, developing The Women's Place information clearinghouse website, and creating collaborations with diverse groups.

• The Women's Place will provide information and resources to enhance the work and lives of OSU women students, faculty, staff, and affiliates.

• The Women's Place will create equitable and accessible connections for women, individually and collectively.

• The Women's Place will provide structured support (web space, meeting space, volunteers) for partners and collaborators.

• The web site and other structured support will be globally supportive of all women.

The Women's Place, in an advisory role, will take positions on issues critical to University women and amplify the voices of women regarding these issues.
